The Adirondack chair is a classic of American design that has been the last word in outdoor comfort for over a hundred years.

Manufactured from sustainable Scandinavian pine this chair is built to last.

The edges of all the parts of the chair are carefully rounded over and most of the screws used in making the chair are covered with matching wooden plugs. The seat and back of the chair are carefully shaped and finished to offer the most comfortable garden armchair you will find.

Pine furniture will have knots and other natural features in the timber which is a natural characteristic of the wood and will not compromise the strength of your furniture. This chair has been dip treated with a preservative to protect it and extend its life-span. Your chair can be used immediately and left outside in all types of weather.

The chair can be used in its natural state or it can be painted or stained. It is recommended that water a repellent preservative is applied at the end of summer and then annually to maintain the natural appearance and stop mould forming during cold and wet months, but this is optional as your bench can be easily cleaned using just soapy water. More severe stains can be removed with any normal cleaning fluid or if needed you can refresh the entire surface with a light sanding using a medium grit sandpaper.
